Mount McKinley | Denali Cybercast

Greeting from Talkeetna, the team Peraponken Peak Patrol back in civilization.

Today we woke up early in the morning at C2 or 11K camp and descended to base camp in a beautiful weather and better glacier conditions to travel. We made a good time to be back at base camp and got few things done before we boarded the flight back to Talkeetna.

We are all back in civilization, safe and sound with a lot of stories and memories to share. We had lunch together in downtown Talkeetna and couple of our climbers headed ahead to Anchorage. The rest of us, we enjoyed the farewell dinner at one of the popular restaurant & bar at Fairview. We were all awake the last 24hr so we call it for the night and said until the next time to each other and headed back home. With that being said this is going to be officially the last Cybercast for Peraponken Peak Patrol and I personally would like to thank all climbers and our families, friends and loved ones for your love and support.

Hoping to get similar love & support in following days on another mountain, wishing all the best to our fellow climbers for their future climbs.

The team hiked through the night from 14camp to the airstrip. We arrived this morning under a full moon and flew out to beautiful, green Talkeetna! Team Only Subscribers is exhausted yet thrilled for our successful Denali expedition!

“Subscribers Only” made it back to 14 camp and plan to walk down to the airstrip tonight for our final push off the mountain!

Hello and Namaste Everyone,

Checking in from 14k camp, we are back down safely at 14K camp for the night. The team summited yesterday in a clear day with little bit of wind coming down from the summit.

A huge congratulations to Per Sunnemark, from Sweden for completing his 7 summits by summiting Mt Denali / McKinley, the highest peak in North America. I had a pleasure to guide him on Vinson as well.

We will be making our way back down to base camp tomorrow and if weather permits we will be back in civilization in couple of days.
