2026 Denali Webinar Recording
Join Alpine Ascents senior guide Don Wargowsky for a deep dive into one of the world’s most iconic climbing objectives — Denali. In this webinar, Don breaks down the expedition logistics, training requirements, and day-to-day realities of climbing North America’s highest peak (20,310 ft / 6,190 m). You’ll get a realistic look at what it takes to be expedition-ready — from hauling heavy sleds up steep glacial terrain to enduring long days in extreme weather — and how to prepare both physically and mentally for success.
What’s Inside the Webinar:
- A detailed walkthrough of the Denali expedition itinerary & West Buttress route
- Training recommendations and preparation timelines from a veteran guide
- What separates Denali from other major peaks (and why many say it’s harder than Everest)
- Common pitfalls and lessons learned from years on the mountain
- A live Q&A session with Don
For those who have already completed multi-day mountaineering courses and glacier climbs — and are ready to take on a true expedition — this webinar is an essential guide to understanding the climb, the commitment, and the challenge of Denali.
