Summer Haute Route Trek Guides

Switzerland & France

About our Guides

Our Alps programs are led exclusively by American IFMGA-certified Mountain Guides who have extensive experience guiding throughout the European Alps. Many have spent years living, climbing, and working in the region, giving them an exceptional understanding of the local terrain, weather patterns, hut systems, climbing culture, and logistics.

In addition to their technical expertise and international guiding experience, our Alps guides are bilingual or trilingual, allowing them to communicate effectively with local hut staff, rescue services, and other mountain professionals. Their combination of American client care, IFMGA training, local knowledge, and language skills creates a seamless and highly personalized experience on objectives ranging from Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn to the Eiger and Haute Route.

Dylan Taylor

Guide: Alaska, Washington, Alps
Dylan lives with his partner Marine and their cat  “Jonesy” in the boulder-strewn forests immediately below the Bossons Glacier on Mont Blanc’s north side. Dylan has been climbing and skiing for over 3 decades, and has been guiding since 2000.
