Manaslu Expedition Begins

Hello Everyone,

Our climbers have arrived for our Manaslu 2026 expedition and we are excited to begin the trip.  Today we completed a gear check and reorganized our gear heading straight to Basecamp for the climb and gear that will come with us for the short trek to Basecamp.  We have been lucky to be granted permission to fly to Samagaon tomorrow morning and it should be good weather.  We thank Jiban (our local operator) working tirelessly to get this permission and hopeful it will all work out tomorrow morning.  I’m excited to be with a strong, small, and experienced group once again on the 8th tallest mountain in the World.  I will continue updating here throughout the expedition.

Thanks for following our adventure,

Ben Jones
