5+Years of ServiceKirah Solomon
Guide: Washington, Alaska

Growing up in Colorado, Kirah began her climbing and skiing education in the Rocky Mountains and after graduating from college continued her studies on the Cascade Volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest. She began her guiding career on Mount Shasta, Calif., and in the Eastern Sierra on Mt. Whitney. Since 1997 she has expanded her experience of rock and ice climbing throughout the western states and in Greece and Turkey. Kirah is a professional ski patroller in Park City and enjoys backcountry ski trips in Utah, Canada, and Alaska. With education from organizations such as AMGA, APP, AIARE, PSIA, and LNT, Kirah is able to pair professional training with her natural enthusiasm for climbing and revel in sharing it with others. When not playing outside, she might be found reading, practicing Spanish, or enjoying the company of animal friends.
