5+Years of ServiceKirah Solomon
Guide: Denali, Mount Rainier, Cascades

Growing up in Colorado, Kirah began her climbing and skiing education in the Rocky Mountains and, after graduating from college, continued her studies on the Cascade Volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest. She began her guiding career on Mount Shasta and in the Eastern Sierra on Mt. Whitney and, in 2009, she guided on Aconcagua in Argentina. Since 1997 she has expanded her knowledge of rock and ice climbing in locations like Estes Park, Smith Rock, Joshua Tree, Yosemite, Owens River Gorge, Red Rocks, Indian Creek, and Little Cottonwood Canyon. Kirah is a professional ski patroller in Park City and enjoys backcountry ski trips in Utah's many mountains. With education from organizations such as AMGA, APP, AIARE, PSIA, and LNT, Kirah is able to pair professional training with her natural enthusiasm for climbing and revel in sharing it with others. When not playing outside she might be found reading, practicing Spanish, or enjoying the company of animal friends.
