Mount Rainier Private Climbs

Private Guiding
Alpine Ascents offers private guiding on all our summit climbs, training courses and international expeditions.  Given our low climber to guide ratio on  Mount Rainier (one guide for every two climbers) our scheduled courses are  essentially private guiding. This  means that you and another climber will receive individual training and assistance on summit climbs by a specific guide. Also Mt. Rainier National Park requires all privately guided trips  to camp in the same vicinity (so even private trips must camp with Alpine Ascents groups.

Private Guiding is Beneficial:
If you have a large enough group of people and would like to purchase an entire trip date, we are happy to accommodate these requests. Please call us early as space may be limited by demand. Please note you will be responsible for own transportation.

Private Climbs on the Kautz Route
Alpine Ascents is now offering private 4 day climbs on Mt. Rainier/Kautz Route in May and June. Participants should have some prior climbing experience (ie carried a heavy pack to a summit). Limited space available please call the office for details.

4-day Kautz climb, $1500 per person.
Minimum of 2 climbers per climb.
2:1 Climber-to-guide ratio.
Transportation and other logistics will be forwarded upon registration.
