Joda Hankins
Guide: Mount Rainier, Mountaineering School

Having grown up in the hills of Tennessee, Joda has always been one in search of an adventure. He cut his teeth while learning to climb the steep walls of The Gunks in NY. After completing his B.A. in English and Leadership, Joda spent three seasons climbing and teaching mountain safety in the Ladakh Range of Northern India. He has a major passion for the wilderness and loves teaching and exposing others to it's natural and human history. He has guided in India, Alaska, Washington and throughout the Western US and is working toward his AMGA Alpine Guide certification. When not guiding, he can be found enjoying crag days and bluegrass with his wife Jess and dog Kale.
